MAS’ convenient 16-week Online Medical Coding Course will provide the necessary training for your success! Our objective is to give you the best opportunity to become an effective inpatient and outpatient medical coder. What sets MAS apart from other online courses is that you will have weekly chat sessions and monthly classroom meetings to review course material, quizzes and answer any questions you may have.
Upon completion of the MAS’ Online Medical Coding Course, you will receive a certificate of completion. You will also be eligible to sit for the CPC®, CCS-P®, CPC-H® or CCS® exam.

What will you need to complete the Online Medical Coding Course?
Prior completion of a medical terminology course is required prior to enrolling. If you have not completed a medical terminology course, please take advantage of our Online Medical Terminology Course.
You will also need a computer with access to the internet. If your computer is not currently equipped with audio capabilities, you will need to utilize a phone with access to long distance for chat sessions.

- ICD-9-CM 2011 Hospital, Volumes 1, 2 & 3
- Medical Dictionary (optional)
Text books are included in the cost of the course and will be supplied by MAS. CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9-CM and Medical Dictionary are the responsibility of the student.

Do you need a payment plan?
MAS’ offers a payment plan to help ease the upfront cost. We want you to be completely comfortable with your choice of institutions as well as the cost!
Payment Plan:
- 25% down payment
- Balance paid in equal payments for up to 3 months
- Paid in-full 5 business days before class start date
We want to make sure the expense is as easy for you as possible. Therefore, you if need to extend the payment length, please call MAS to discuss a suitable timeframe.
